What Running a Site Entails

You run a site. That means member intake, delivery logging, SNAP architecture per site, insurance tracking, and the funder reporting that keeps grants alive.
You keep the community relationship, the archive, and the veto over what gets published. AFP provides the console and the paperwork, not the authority.
This application is for licensing the platform so you can run a site: open a pickup, log deliveries, and report. Grant funding through AFP is a later and separate step, with its own paperwork, and it comes after.
Verification is done by people. A name difference or a missing record goes to a reviewer, never to an automatic rejection.

We match your tax ID to the IRS legal name. A trade name is expected to differ and is never held against you.

A Candid profile is welcome context. A missing Seal never affects the outcome.
Documents live in private storage and are opened through a temporary link. Payouts run on your own Stripe account, and AFP never stores a bank account number.

Use the legal name exactly as it appears on your IRS letter. Trade names go in the next field, and a trade name that differs from the legal name is completely normal.
